The Olympus Stylus 1040 is yet another new point-and-shoot digital camera from the company that will hit the market from September 2008 at an MSRP of $199.
Measuring at 16.5mm thick, this slimmest camera sports a 10 megapixel CCD sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch HyperCrystal LCD, face detection, shadow adjustment technology, perfect shot preview, XD and MicroSD slot. Other features found include Intelligent Auto Mode, In-camera panorama, and Digital image stabilization. The Stylus 1040 will be available in silver, red, yellow, and black motifs — that including sliding lens cover in the front, which reminds us of Sony’s Cybershot line.
